Independent Creative Director
I am a designer working in brand strategy, identity, and experience design for clients in culture, media, and hospitality.
I was most recently Executive Creative Director at The New York Times, where I oversaw multidisciplinary teams spanning brand, editorial, product, social, and marketing. Previously, I led the Times’s redesign of Wirecutter and was instrumental to its integration in the broader Times portfolio.
I enjoy reconciling diverse, experimental approaches to design and communication with the messy reality of day to day implementation. I have worked with global news and financial organizations, local arts and environmental non-profits, artists, museums, hotels, and a variety of people, businesses, and situations in between.
