Independent Creative Director
New York, NY
I’m an independent creative director working in brand strategy, identity, and experience design for clients in culture and media.
I was most recently Executive Creative Director at The New York Times, where I built and oversaw multidisciplinary teams spanning brand, editorial, product, social, and marketing. Previously, I led the Times’s rebrand and redesign of Wirecutter and was instrumental to its integration in the Times portfolio.
I enjoy reconciling diverse, experimental approaches to design and communication with the complexities of day to day use. I have worked with global news and financial organizations, local arts and environmental non-profits, artists, museums, hotels, and a variety of people, businesses, and situations in between.
